School now - School then

Schoolclass from old days
When our parents went to school the primary school was only up to 9th grade, we have up to 10th grade.
Three of our parents don’t have a real education, but they have really good jobs now. Now you need education to be everything. Even to be a cleaning lady you need to have an education. That’s weird.
We think that’s the biggest change since our parents went to school.
We even had some of the same teachers to middle school like our parents.

When our grandparents went to school the teachers were much stricter. They got punished every time they talked without taking up their hand, but now we talk if we want to most of the time. We are not allowed but we aren’t getting punished every time we do it.

  1. Hi sweeties,

this is such a nice blog! We like your pictures a lot, it really gives an idea of how Norway was way back then, the time of your grandparents. In the Netherlands they are still very strict. When we don't listen, they punish us by spanking us with a big hard beam. Í hate it when they do that. Sometimes we have to go to the basement and we dón't get food for like a week, it's horrible you guys! Never come here, because they'll do the same to you!

    Bye

  2. Haha no just kidding! Everyone here is very nice and relaxed. The teachers are very cool, like you've seen in Norway. You should try to here sometime, so we can show you around.

    Hugs and kisses,

  5. When our grandparents were teenagers teachers in Poland were much stricter then they are. When we don't listen, they can only admonish us and place a note in journal.

  6. Hey again.
As our grandparents went to school, it was'nt easy for them too. They were punished for every thing they had done too.
Why don't you visit our blog, if you want to know more? (:
